6. Security of Your Health Information

9. Online and Digital Services
This portal uses session storage and local storage in your browser to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking technologies. Usage logs (including IP addresses and access times) are retained for security and audit purposes for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Queensland Health record-keeping requirements.
Prescription images you upload are stored securely on our servers. You may delete your uploaded prescriptions at any time via the portal.
10. Cannabis Medicines — TGA Compliance
The dispensing of medicinal cannabis products is regulated under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth) and requires compliance with Special Access Scheme (SAS) Category B or Authorised Prescriber approval pathways. When processing cannabis medicine orders, we:
Require a valid prescriber AHPRA registration number (format: 3 letters + 10 digits, e.g. MED0001234567)
Verify that a valid TGA approval is in place before dispensing
Verify patient identity prior to first supply
Validate the prescription against TGA approval terms before each dispense
Maintain dispensing records as required by Queensland Health and the TGA
Report to the TGA as required under the Special Access Scheme
